Not
only
is
Jill
Gioia
an
extraordinarily
gifted
singer
and
songwriter,
she
is
also
a
wife
and
proud
mother
of
two
boys,
Carmine
Gabriel
three
years
and
Simon
Luke
only
four
months!
Dedicated
to
her
love
of
family
and
music,
she
manages
to
juggle
it
all.
At
the
early
age
of
seven,
Jill’s
career
began
appearing
in
dozens
of
national
television
commercials
and
print
ads.
Singing
being
her
first
love,
she
went
on
to
compete
as a
semi
finalist
in
Ed
McMahon’s
“Star
Search.”
Jill
was
the
winner
of
the
first
Steve
Madden
“Rock
n’
Sole
Band
Search”
contest
resulting
in
the
“Jill
Joy
Boot”,
a
sexy
platform
high
heeled
boot
inspired
and
named
after
her.
There
are
miles
more
to
Jill
than
a
pair
of
extra-cool
boots.
The
gritty,
pretty,
super
soulful
rock
singer
from
New
York
brings
a
biting
edge
to
music
that
makes
people
sit
up,
take
notice
and
leave
with
a
smile
on
their
face.
Jill
was
the
female
lead
singer
for
the
“West
Coast”
touring
company
of
the
multi-platinum
selling
Trans-Siberian
Orchestra.
Competing
for
the
front
man/woman
slot
in a
new
star
studded
band,
Jill
was

Lee’s

Crue)

to
Enya,
and
on
major
television
shows
like
“The
Late
Show
with
David
Letterman,”
where
she
performed
with
the
band
Third
Eye
Blind.
“Breaking
For
The
Holidays”
a
holiday
album,
features
Jill
among
many
artist
including
Chaka
Khan
and
Sandra
Bernhard.
Gioia
also
executed
some
skillful,
memorable
belt-outs
of
one
of
the
hardest
songs
to
sing--The
National
Anthem—for
numerous
playoff,
and
season
games
for
the
N.Y
Knicks,
Rangers,
Liberty
and
NCAA
more
than
once.
Her
voice
filled
Madison
Square
Garden
singing
the
complicated,
patriotic
ode,
and
received
smashing
aplomb.
Taking
her
even
further,
Jill’s
song
“Don’t
Make
Me
Wait,”
went
gold
in
Spain.
She
has
donated
her
time
and
voice
to
various
groups
such
as
“Musicians
on
Call”
(Sloan
Kettering)
as
well
as
“Friends
for
Life”
a CD
for
the
Carol
Baldwin
Breast
Cancer
foundation.
Jill
Gioia’s
impressive
credits
include
two
albums
(“He’s
My
Bitch”
and
“Got
Some
Issues”),
numerous
radio
and
TV
appearances
(Reality
Remix,

Magazine,
in
Newsday,
Glamour,
Billboard,
The
Daily

and

Jill
is
the
voice
on
numerous
TV
and
radio
commercials.
They
include
Ford’s
“Bold
Moves”,
Gillette
Venus,
La-Z-Boy,
Aleve-D
and
Simon
Malls.
Jill
is
currently
working
on a
new
up
and
coming
Broadway
Show
as
well
as
singing
with
her
own
band,
performing
at
theaters,
corporate
events,
parties
and
weddings.
She
recently
sang
for
St.
Mary’s
Children’s
Hospital
in
N.Y.
for
the
ground
breaking
ceremony
of
their
new
medical
facility!
But
her
successes
have
not
kept
Jill
from
remembering
her
roots,
as
the
immensely
likable
woman
remains
steadfastly
down
to
earth
and
quick
to
smile.
And
living
in
the
nifty
situation
of
being
married
to a
musician
whom
she
performs
and
tours
the
country
with,
Jill
has
plenty
reason
to
smile.
