ABOUT JILL GIOIA
A monarch of female vocalists, Jill Gioia sets an unprecedented standard in captivating, bring-down-the-house performances in an unlimited spectrum of musical genres. She has been referred to as, " a vocal chameleon" due to her vocal ability, range, and versatility.
Jill's powerhouse talents brought her international fame on the hit CBS global media series, "Rockstar Supernova," with Tommy Lee of Motley Crue, featuring finalists and top vocalists from around the world.
Performing in arenas across the U.S, she served as lead singer of the multi-platinum-selling Trans- Siberian Orchestra. Jill's credits include numerous radio and television appearances, back up, and opening shows for illustrious artists such as Kelly Clarkson, Third Eye Blind, Berlin, INXS, Gloria Gaynor, Enya, B-52's, David Cassidy, Dee Snider, and 98 Degrees, appearing on major television shows like "The Late Show with David Letterman", "Regis and Kelly" and "The View". She also performs memorable belt outs of The National Anthem at Madison Square Garden for the NY Rangers, and NY Knicks.
As an accomplished songwriter, Jill's hit song "Don't Make Me Wait," reached gold in Spain. And though she's already appeared in Newsday, Glamour, Billboard, and the cover of Flatiron magazine, we guess she'll be appearing in a lot more media to come.
Not only is Jill an extraordinarily gifted singer and songwriter, she also inspired a smashing pair of boots. No joke. Based on her total kick-ass-a-tude musical power, Jill was the winner of shoe designer Steve Madden's first "Rock n' Sole Band Search Contest" resulting in the "Jill Joy" boot, named after, yes, her! How many people achieve that kind of honor? There are miles more to Jill than a pair of extra sexy boots. Her career began at the early age of 10. As a member of SAG/AFTRA she has appeared in dozens of national television commercials, jingles, voiceovers, and was even a finalist on Ed McMahons "Star Search". Jill has dedicated her life to her passion and love of performing. She continues to raise the bar with her current shows, "The Women of Rock", "Rockstar", and "The Main Event".
This gritty, pretty, super soulful rock singer from New York brings a biting edge to music that makes people sit up, take notice, and leave them cheering for more!
